Hey friends,
How has your week been? I hope it has been going well for you.
We often get caught up in the hustle and bustle of life, constantly seeking the next big thing. We forget to take a moment to appreciate how far we've come on our personal journeys. It's important to pause, show gratitude, and celebrate our wins before we set our sights on the next adventure.
Now, I'm not suggesting that we should become complacent or settle for less. There's still value in being forward-thinking and striving for greater things. However, there is immense joy in acknowledging and celebrating our achievements along the way.
We even overlook expressing gratitude for the smallest of things. So, I want to challenge you today to reflect on your accomplishments in the last five months of 2023. It could be in business, personal development, job applications, school applications, or even finally posting your first blog. Take a moment to appreciate and acknowledge your progress.
🚀Here's my list of achievements in the last five months:
🎯I've been consistent in writing my newsletter. Previously, it was only shared once a month. But I made a commitment to write it weekly, and though it hasn't been easy, I always look forward to Saturday evenings when I sit down and pour my thoughts into it.
🎯I've had the privilege of connecting with amazing friends and mentors in my industry. They have been guiding me, providing valuable insights, and helping me become the best version of myself. Their support has been invaluable.
🎯I've been learning to play the piano. While I'm still far from mastering it, I've made significant progress compared to when I first started. It's a small achievement, but it brings me joy to see my growth.
🎯In an effort to generate more leads for my tutoring business, I've invested time and effort into content creation. As a result, I created my own YouTube channel (gnosisacademy) where I share math videos. Overcoming the fear of putting myself out there took a while, but I finally took the leap.
🎯Finally, in April, I secured my first digital creator job. It hasn't been without its challenges, and I'm still learning the ropes. But I'm grateful for the opportunity and excited for what the future holds. I know there's more to come, and I attribute it all to God's grace.
So, take a moment to appreciate your own achievements, no matter how big or small. It's these moments of gratitude that keep us motivated and ready for the next chapter of our journey.
Take care, and I'll see you soon.
Kev xx
